Dear Family and Friends,
This week has been one of the most amazing and hardest weeks on the mission. Just like after the Kirtland temple was built, opposition always follows. We got a member to the temple. We have been teaching miss Gigi the temple prep lessons and she went this week and did baptisms for the first time and president gave us permission to go with her. Probably one of the most amazing experiences. She was baptized for her mother and her mother accepted the work. We had a moment in the dressing room when we were all just crying because we knew that this is what missionary work is all about... getting people to the temple... teaching them the truth and teaching them to reach out and help others.
I don't think I had ever been so excited to visit the temple before. I KNOW that this is the reason we do missionary work... to bring people their salvation and help them help others receive their salvation as well. Such a beautiful day.
The rest of the week was rough but we will keep pushing forward. We
went and helped set up for Brackon Allen's birthday party. That was
interesting a bunch of 8 year old kids and 2 sister missionaries... and
of course Linzy. Grayson Allen is one of my favorite primary kids. We
went and helped Linzy out because she jusst had a baby and Grayson for
some odd reason started calling us Bella. I don't know where he got
Bella from but that's totally fine he calls us that because Bella means
beautiful. I seriously am starting to love the members here.
