Dear Friends and Family,
This week has been super crazy. We had 3 baptismal dates. We talked
with everybody we saw. We followed promptings and went back even when
it wasn't convenient. I learned the meaning of diligence. We did things
we didn't want to do, we were exactly obedient and we saw wonderful
things happen.
We found an investigator Felicia. We were driving on
sunday to an investigators and we felt a prompting to stop at this house
so we followed it. We prayed and as soon as we weredone we noticed they
were standing on their porch watching us. they were watching a scary
movie and I'm pretty sure we scared them when two girls pull up in their
drive way and its pouring rain outside. We taught feliciaand went back
for a second visit as we showed her the last page in the pamphlet about
church she got all shy and told us she had already read the whole
pamphlet. We gave her a book of mormon and asked her to read it and she
told us just holding the book feels right. We gave her a baptismal date.
Our next person Tocara we met as we were driving by. We saw her outside
on her front porch playing with her kids. We decided to go backand talk
with her. We did and she told us how she wants to pray about our
message and told us how everyone gets at least one chance to hear the
gospel in their lives and we told her that this is that one time she is
going to get to hear the truth and it is important for her to pray.
We
set 2 more baptismal dates and it was a pretty crazy week. We also went
to dinner at a members and their house is HUGE!!! We went from seeing
trailers to private lakes. We also saw a coyote on our drive back
home...we were in the car of course and driving by. Pretty crazy.
