Elder Kopishke

May 19, 2014

Dear Family and Friends,

This week was amazing. Monday we toured the Pringle Factory and got some cool south american pringle cans in spanish. We also got a pringle bank. About 90% of all the worlds pringles come from right here in Jackson, TN.

These are the frogs we caught they were right by our front door. We put them in a pringles can which is made here in Jackson, TN... don't worry we let the frogs go right after we caught and named them.

Tuesday we taught this investigator and when these two other guys walked in we got the worst feeling and the spirit prompted us that we needed to leave right then. So we left and didn't quite feel safe going home and we felt like we needed to go and get blessings from the elders. It was a crazy night and the elders told us they were taking that investigator so that we never had to go back.... so grateful for the elders and for the priesthood. Don't know what I would do without it. We cleaned out a really disgusting garage for somebody and man do I not want to become a hoarder.

Wednesday we had our interviews with our mission president for the last time before we get our new mission president. Pretty amazing. It's sad to see such an amazing mission president leave. Guess I just always thought I would get to see them in the mission home one for time before my mission is up.

On Friday we had Elder Kopishke from the quorum of the 70 come and visit the missionaries here in Memphis. He said some pretty amazing things. He taught us to have vision and not only see the people that we our working with getting baptize but see them as who God knows they can become. Envision them in white twice... once for baptism and again in the temple.

Sunday our investigator Bodie didn't come to church and we had to push his date back a week. We met with him and committed him to live the word of wisdom and he is going to be baptized on May 29th and I am soooo excited for him. That is about it for this week.

Love,
