MTC: Week 2

June 21, 2013

Dear Family and Friends,

This week has been crazy. I have been so busy. I have officially become illiterate in english now so if I spell things wrong please forgive me. The only change I have noticed this week is how bad my english is getting. My spanish doesn't seem to be improving and my english is getting worse. I have learned so much the past few weeks and I have also never had such a hard time. Spanish is so frustrating but at least I have people to help me get through it.

I love the MTC and my only complaint is that the language is soooo hard. My district is awesome and I absolutely love the people in it. They are so fun and make class so exciting and interesting. I can't believe I only have a few weeks left at the MTC. I'm really sad I am going to be leaving some pretty amazing people when I go to Arkansas.

I am singing in the MTC choir and apparently the entire MTC is going to be singing at a special broadcast made on Sunday with the First Presidency and quorum of the 12 will be there. They have never had the entire MTC leave the campus before so rumors have been flying around that the first presidency is going to be announcing something big on Sunday night. I can't wait to hear what it is.

One thing I have learned is that there are soooo many missionaries serving right now. I am so exciting to be a part of the big missionary boom. I am so excited to get out there and serve the gospel and bless other people's lives. This gospel has brought me so much joy and I can't wait to share that with others.

Sincerely,

Hermana Larissa Johnson
